Trio3b
Usually use the free editions without the proprietary stuff, but would like to tryu 2007 "ONE"(with KDE) There seem to be about 7 or 8 i586 kde iso downloads. Sorry about the duh question but surely there aren't that many CD's. Can I live without some of them? Thanks
AussieJohn
You didn't take the time to read the details about the seven KDE based ISOs. Each has different language data. You only need to select the one that has your desired Language. Cheers. John.
pindakoe
You only need one; multiple CD's exist for different combinations of languages. Check yr language
edwardp
The ISO that I used to install 2007 Free is mandriva-one-2007-free-kde.iso (without a number after "kde"). It will run from the CD directly or can be installed. If you choose to install it, it should install rather quickly. On a 166 Mhz Pentium 1 (almost 10 years old), I had a working system (before updates) in 45 minutes. :) Edited December 25, 2006 by edwardp
Trio3b
Sorry, read the readme and release notes but must have missed that part....apparently any of the 8 .kde versions has english on it. Thanks Edited December 26, 2006 by Trio3b
