Cannonfodder
Is there a way to copy a large number of (small) files to an ftp server in a compressed manner? I want to compress the folder containing the file, copy to the server and have it uncompress. I don't have SSH available or any kind of command line terminal so it has to be through the ftp protocal or be something I can launch. Just though of this, can it be a php script? Steve Scrimpshire
All I found was this: http://php.linuxforum.net/manual/en/ref.zlib.php It looks like it has to be enabled in PHP at compile time, unless you use the Windows version, which already has support enabled.
