SoulSe
Our Radio Station started streaming on the web today. I was involved in setting it up. The first suggestions were to provide streaming to Windows Media Player (cus ~everyone~ uses it). Anyway, I organised a meeting with our ISP and started convincing them that we should use icecast or shoutcast so that Linux and Mac users can hear us. 5 minutes into the discussion the guys from the ISP said they would prefer that cus they use Linux! Woohoo. :P So now we stream using shoutcast (mp3) I would have preffered icecast because of ogg casting. But anyway, it sounds great. Our radio station is at www.tuksfm.co.za my DJ name is Simon Frost. It would be cool to have you all listening as well! Just click on the ear and select open from... and then point it at xmms! DragonMage
Doesn't work for me when I clicked on the ear.. Maybe I have to wait until the end of the week like the site says because I am after all an international listerner (from South Africa point of view anyway). Congrats, can't wait to listen to what you have :)
