AussieJohn Posted November 28, 2006 Report Share Posted November 28, 2006 (edited) When you go into Mandriva Control Centre (MCC) then into...Look at and configure hardware ...look and see if your sound Card is shown in there. If it is not then it means either your sound card has failed or that the bios has not enabled it. If it is listed in MCC then click on the entry and then go to Run Config Tool at the bottom of the pane and select the driver recommended for your card. If there is no suggested driver then you are out of luck. Maybe a more modern board or if the Mainboard has onboard audio then select that in the bios and then go through the driver install routine I have described. Good luck and cheers. John.
