cannot login to mandriva 2007

hi,

installation of mandriva 2007 completed the all 100% packages , but while adding user the cdrom stop woking, i reboote the system and start the installation with the upgrade of mandriva 2007, the installation process completed and install the grub, can start the mandriva , ane there is gui login window for login and password, but when enter the login for root the message is "root login is not allowed", and there is no user created to login, any one can help please?

Press Ctrl+Alt+F1, login as root. Use the

useradd

command to create a new user. Press Ctrl+Alt+F7 to get back to the graphical login screen. If it still won't let you in restart the x server.
