Guest Peo Posted March 13, 2003 Report Share Posted March 13, 2003 My friend has just got a Compaq Evo 1015v, but there is no way he can install Linux on it. First try was with Mandrake Power Pack DVD: the install process hangs while detecting the hardware blockf0000....kernel panic unable to continue then he tried with Slackware 8.1 same problem.
