Guest JavaLinux
I'm still kind of new to Mandrake and linux. My question is how do you access the /root directory within the kde GUI? I can access it with konsole or root midnight commander fine. However, there is a lock placed on the folder when viewed in konqueror. michaelcole
Click on the Star. Select Run Command type kdesu konqueror type in your password in the box that will appear press enter now you will have a konqueror running as SU (Root) I changed the background of my knoqueror so i can tell instantly if it is the Root user session.
