satelliteuser083
I've just installed MV2007 and my mouse is dead. Looks seriously like a software problem  , because it's working now (in LE2005). The mouse-stick on the laptop (Toshiba sat pro 4600) doesn't work either in MV2007. Strange!! Is this a known problem? In any case, I'd like some help, please, on how to solve this little snag. Thanks Edit: Has just occurred to me: could anyone tell me how to navigate around the various frames WITHOUT the mouse, then I might be able to use (for example) the MCC to investigate this further. jboy
You could try running the command mousedrake as the root user from the command line. This allows you to re-select your mouse driver. Perhaps you need a different driver.
ianw1974
Also check your logs too for errors. My Tosh laptop is working fine with built-in mouse and usb mouse.
satelliteuser083
Thanks to you both for your help. Mousedrake worked well, as does the mouse (now). Why the system didn't find a generic PS2-mouse is strange, but never mind  I'll have a look at the log later. Hanking back to my original post, any tips on non-mouse navigation? Cheers. ianw1974
You can use the keyboard, the arrow keys that would require the "fn" key held down from what I remember.

Yup, that works, just need to play with them to figure out how to get the required control . Thanks. :D
