dalee
Hi, Just a curious question. I've just installed Opera V.6.11 to try it out. All went well and it works fine. So I added it to the menu in KDE. Now when I start it up, a terminal opens like I'm starting it from there. Everything loads and works fine. Was just wondering if this happens to anybody else. dalee
bvc
When setting up the menu item, uncheck "run from terminal".

bigjohn
Ok, so I just tried to add opera to the menu as well and it's gone in, but in the wrong place. How do I put it under networks>www ? regards John :?:
mtweidmann
Have you tried moving it using: K-Menu -> Configuration -> Other -> Menudrake
bigjohn
Cheers mtweidmann, Just put the opera back on the menu and "cut and pasted" it - stupid of me not to have thought of that before. But in my defence, whenever I have tried to do anything in a "wind0w$esque" way before, it just hasn't worked yet on this occasion, it was staring me in the face. Thanks again. regards John 8)
