scarecrow
alt+F2, "kcontrol", in there "KDE Components/Session Manager", and now untick "on login/restore previous session" and replace it with whatever you like. ianw1974
How do you normally shut down? Do you just type it at a prompt? I've noticed with Mandriva, if you shut down without using the KDE shutdown method, it can cause a few issues. Mostly, like not remembering settings, etc.
SoulSe
That's what happens when you shut down your computer by grabbing the power cable and running in the opposite direction :P
