Guest boonders Posted February 28, 2003 Report Share Posted February 28, 2003 use the ALSA drivers, install "AlsaMixerGUI", turn off the digital out option(one of the last on the list) and increase WAVE center, WAVE surround, WAVE, and WAVE LFT(something similar to that). Guest boonders Posted March 3, 2003 Report Share Posted March 3, 2003 okay, What speakers do you have hooked up? Do you use the digital out on your PCI card? If so, you might have to turn it on in the ALSA mixer. Make sure you are turning the digital out, OFF, by clicking on the graphic above the bars. My broadband connection is down, so I am not at my linux machine right now, I will try to get back to you when I can look at my setup again.
