avogodro
I am trying to get my USB ports working with mandriva.. totally newbie... In particular I am trying to hotsync my Palm with kpilot. I can press autodetect in kpilot. It detects it as /dev/tty/usb01. I get the signal that it is hotsyncing and then the kpilot freezes... and i get an output on my palm about 2 minutes later stating that it the communication with kpilot was lost. Anyone know how to resolve this? I think it may have something to do with my USB setup... [root@localhost Desktop]# lsusb Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 001 Device 035: ID 0830:0060 Palm, Inc. Palm Tungsten T / Zire 71 Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 [root@localhost Desktop]# any help? Edited June 11, 2006 by avogodro
Ixthusdan
Start the palm first, and then initiate the hotsync with kpilot. I also recommend jpilot.
