mightymulatto
I'm new to linux and have conquered several HW problems drivers/ect. This is possibly my first SW problem. I am trying to play a DVD and am getting this error by kaffeine player. The disk is detected and the correct program loads. Is there anywhere where I can get this plugin or is there a modification I can make to the program or computer without downloading anything? Thanks in advance guys! scarecrow
What region this DVD is? Is your DVD drive region-free or not?
ffi
It could be that you are missing a codec or that the player engine doesn´t support that codec. Kaffeine is actually about 6 players in one. Go to Settings->Player engine and try a different engine, I generally have most luck with Embedded Mplayer for KDE. see this thread for getting codecs: https://mandrivausers.org/index.php?showtopic=32501
