zsnes ... small problem

I installed zsnes 1.36 and i got a rom (earthbound) to run great. It had some jerkyness so i decided to mess with the settings (bad move).

under scanlines-

i clicked on full screen (other options were 50% or 25%)

 

anyways the window went black and now i cant see anything when i start up zsnes. I wanted to go back into the program and of course take that option off but i cant see anything to fix it.

 

I have tried uninstalling the rpm, and downloading again . But i get the same black screen.

 

anyway i can get a work around to fix this?

There should be a hidden directory in your /home/<username> directory called .zsnes. Try deleting that directory, then rerun zsnes.

one disadvantage to that is that you'll also lose any ROMs and other files that you might have in the .zsnes/ directory (in your case, it sounds like there aren't many - but I bring it up since there will be others reading this thread).

 

You want to either edit, or delete:

 

~/.zsnes/zsnesl.cfg

i went QNR's route by editing the cfg file, but thank you too dragonmage.

That is why I keep my roms elsewhere, to save me from myself :)
