ianw1974
Is the HardDrake service enabled and running? I have problems with devices not mounting automatically when this service is disabled: [root@europa ian]# chkconfig --list harddrake harddrake 0:off 1:off 2:off 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off note the "on" against runlevels 3 and 5 being the most important. To turn it on just type: chkconfig harddrake on and reboot and see if that does the trick. You could manually start the service to save rebooting with: service harddrake start and see if it automatically mounts then, if not you'd need a reboot. I'm pretty sure just starting the service didn't work for me and I had to reboot.
