Shadowchaser
OK is here my problem, I have an Dimension 9100 it's only 4 months old and it's a Great PC but lately when my kids or myself play Enemy Territory the pc will just reboot.. At first i though maybe it was a kernel/mandriva 2006 problem because i was update using cooker all the time. So i decided i was going to do a fresh install on a clean Hd.. Now i'm not so sure it was the OS it could be a hardware problem, like Power Supply? The thing that baffles me is that it will only reboot while playing 3D intense games like Doom3 or ET and even then it's not everytime it might work today with no problems. Come the Next Day and Bam she'll reboot. so my question is, does anybody have any idea's why this is happening? heres my spec's Pentuim D 3.0 Nvidia 6800 1 gig memory nvidia driver 7676 Mandriva 2006 powerpack -ShadowChaser Thanks 4 any Info
arctic
Check the temperature of your hardware. Sounds like an overheating graphics card to me. Install lm_sensors and install gkrellm or something like that and check your hardware temperature.
