CanuckKev
Well, postfix is up and running, but I am having one little problem. Mail is going out with the wrong hostname (correct for most instances, but wrong for this machine). My hostname for the machine (which is correct) is odie.cave-systems.ca The mail from this machine is going out as user@cave-systems.ca I want it to go specifically as user@odie.cave-systems.ca as this will be a seperate machine. going out as cave-systems.ca means that replies are going to my exchange server, and it bounces it because the users have no accounts, and I have not setup forwarding, nor am I planning to. I used webamin and changed 2 settings to no avail. 1) What domain to use in outbound mail (choices were hostname or domainname or other, so I have other set to odie.cave-systems.ca) 2) What domain to recieve mail for (again set to other odie.cave-systems.ca) Any ideas? CanuckKev
Okay, I think I have it fixed, but it will take some more testing to be sure... In the main.cf, I put the following.... masquerade_domains = localhost.$mydomain and that seems to have done the trick. Boy the learning curve is steep here. But any challenge is a good challenge.... :P
