Ironfighter
I installed Firefox in my home folder - the path is home/name/firefox/firefox. I have added firefox on to the system menu via MCC but it doesn´t appear in the menu panel in KDE. I can open it from a terminal by entering <firefox/firefox> but then if I close that terminal window by accident the browser closes down also. I don´t understand why this is but it is a bit of a nuisance. Can anyone tell me how to fix this please? ianw1974
Try System/Configuration/Other/MenuDrake. Does this work if you add it here, say underneath the Internet group? What I tend to normally do, is create the icon on the desktop, and then drag and drop it to the toolbar just to the right of the Mandriva star, or kmenu icon if you've changed it, and just use it from here, than add it to the menu. Then once on here, I remove it from the desktop by deleting.
daniewicz
I use the KDE Menu Editor. Settings -> Menu Editor
