MadHattr Posted February 22, 2003 Report Share Posted February 22, 2003 The subject pretty much sums it up but i was woundering how i could get mandrake 9 to login one user and remmeber password automarticaly upon boot i already have it set to auto start x and i think there was a question like this when i first isntalled mandrake ? bvc Posted February 22, 2003 Report Share Posted February 22, 2003 If from mcc>Boot>Boot Config, you chose to start the graphical environment at boot and chose a user and a desktop, then check mcc>System>Services and see if dm (display manager) is set to run at boot. If not (probably not) set it to run at boot. You could also manually edit the files; /etc/sysconfig/desktop /etc/sysconfig/autologin and do chkconfig dm on and reboot Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
