ilia_kr
Usually i use only english on Linux PC, but now i want to check its multilanguage functionality. I would like to type in a different language, not just be able to read it or to change the menus lang. How can i do that in FC4 & mdk10.1? Thanks Edited April 13, 2006 by ilia_kr
arctic
Both, KDE and Gnome have an inbuilt option for that. You can even have the keyboard-language-chooser on the panel, if you want. In Gnome e.g., go to system → preferences → keyboard and add the keyboard-layout you want to have added to the list there. On the panel, right-click and add the keyboard-layout indication tool. Then right click on the tool in the panel, go to "groups" and select the layout you want. In KDE, you can change it in the Control Center, too (or add more keyboard layouts).
