Guest itamarkass Posted April 4, 2006 Report Share Posted April 4, 2006 Hi all, I have new Acer 5672 laptop, and I installed on it Mandriva 2006. After the installation, the system did not recognized the NIC. This machine has a Broadcom BCM5789 chipset. I know that there is a new driver tg3, which I tried to used, but the system asked for many parameters which I do not know. Can anyone help me here? Itamar. Unfortunately I don't really know what to suggest as your comments are a little vague - what kind of parameters did it ask for? Network address details?
