ffi
I have a Logitech Desktop Cordless Pro keyboard, it has some nice extra features like multimedia keys, some work (like the mute button) under Mandriva but the one I use most, the volume control doesn't. I just found out it does work under Ubuntu. Is there anyway to get it working under Mandriva too?
devries
Probably because the keys are allready used. Open the kde control center, system, input actions, then under (this was my situation so for you it could be different) mentor office wireless keyboard and remove the volume keys. That should be it. If that doesn't work bind the keys to the master channel in kmix (rightclick the volume slide and select gloabal shortkeys)
ffi
Thanks binding a new global shortcut in Kmix did the trick :) Edited April 2, 2006 by ffi
ffi
Damn, now the mute doesn't work anymore, it still shows a box with mute on /off but doesn't do anything with the volume. I tried assigning the global shortcut but it doesn't work...
