Guest aciDHead
Hi everyone, after i have updated my 3.0 to 3.1 via urpmi from texstar, everything is running fine. I gave the kfmclient all permissions, and so those errors from kfmclient where gone. But one thing is ugly, i cant save the position of my desktop icons. Everytime i log on again the icons are in default order. It seems kde doesnt save the position of the icons on the desktop correctly. can someone help me please :?:
mtweidmann
Try setting it to save sessions on exit. Then close anything you wouldn't want to open when you start KDE, log out, log back in, and switch the session thing off again.
DragonMage
That one is solved in one of the forums located at http://www.pclinuxonline.com I think all you have to do is 1. Right click on desktop and choose configure desktop 2. Pick on Behavior 3. Uncheck all the previews. 4. Press Apply then OK After that.. everything should be in order, i.e. not snapping back to the top left side whenever you reenter X.
