Guest mortalfunk
Would it be feasible for a small network using MNF2 as my firewall to install samba for use as a fileserver? Or would I be better off using a regular Mandriva release? Thanks. Mike.
ianw1974
Highly unlikely. Chances are it's a small release that's only got enough stuff to run the Firewall and that's it. I'm unsure whether you'd be able to use easyurpmi to create sources and then install samba later. Might be worth emailing Mandriva themselves direct to see if it's feasible. Otherwise, you'd probably be better off with a full release. In my opinion anyway :P
