Problem with fileshareset - no sharing possible

Hello!

I installed both samba nd nfs on my two networking machines - lan.

Connection is established and works (ics).

 

But - clicking on a folders options and clicking in "share folder" returns following message:

 

Beim Versuch, den Ordner "/home/andreas/test" gemeinschaftlich zu nutzen, ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. Bitte stellen Sie sicher, das das Perl-Skript "fileshareset" nicht unter der Kennung des Benutzers "root" läuft (set suid).

 

I already updated my mandriva 2006 (dvd iso version) and got the suid-perl file.

 

Nothing works.

 

Help please!

 

edit:

file fileshareset is already set with uid and guid enabled, user root, group root.

suid-perl is not installed correctly, the setuid bit is NOT set, after installation you have to do:

 

chmod 4711 /usr/bin/sperl5.8.7

 

in a console as root
