Jza
I have authentication issues when I try to connect from kontact to the kolab servers. I want to connect to the Kolab server and test the sharing of contacts and calendars. The problem is that I created the users on the kolab, and create the distribution list, however I havent been able to actually use it. I search for the kolab logs and I see the following: November 20 06:55:08 kolabmailboxfilter.php[22293]: Debug: Kolabmailboxfilter starting up, sender=, recipients=root@uk.irlcomputers.com, client_address= November 20 06:55:08 kolabmailboxfilter.php[22293]: Error: Failed to set recipient root@uk.irlcomputers.com: Invalid response code received from server, code=550 November 20 07:16:47 kolabmailboxfilter.php[22342]: Debug: Kolabmailboxfilter starting up, sender=, recipients=root@uk.irlcomputers.com, client_address= November 20 07:16:47 kolabmailboxfilter.php[22342]: Error: Failed to set recipient root@uk.irlcomputers.com: Invalid response code received from server, code=550 November 21 06:53:28 kolabmailboxfilter.php[28561]: Debug: Kolabmailboxfilter starting up, sender=, recipients=root@uk.irlcomputers.com, client_address= November 21 06:53:29 kolabmailboxfilter.php[28561]: Error: Failed to set recipient root@uk.irlcomputers.com: Invalid response code received from server, code=550 November 21 06:58:27 kolabmailboxfilter.php[28576]: Debug: Kolabmailboxfilter starting up, sender=, recipients=root@uk.irlcomputers.com, client_address= November 21 06:58:27 kolabmailboxfilter.php[28576]: Error: Failed to set recipient root@uk.irlcomputers.com: Invalid response code received from server, code=550 Any feedback on how to avoid this? This is a test servers so I can give out most of the config if you need it. Edited November 21, 2005 by Jza
aioshin
code 550 in postfix represents an invalid recipient address, or unknown recipient on local recipient table.. ...try to alias root to a regular user and see what happens Edited November 22, 2005 by aioshin
