I just installed Mandriva 2006, but the problem is I can't get my internal NIC (Marvell 88E8053) or my wireless card (Intel 2915) to connect. I loaded the new firmware for the Intel wireless card and modprobed (which ran fine), but I can't really get the device to connect. Looking at dmesg, I see something about an RF kill switch and how it needs to be set to "off." The problem with that is that it's a hardware switch, and so it cuts off my wireless card completely.
