Guest alexl Posted October 17, 2005 Report Share Posted October 17, 2005 Hallo! I have installed GIMP 2.8 on my Mandriva 2006 box. Everything goes wery good and fine without one thing - when i try to Save AS in GIMP program crashes an disapiers from desktop. If i try to save existing file with some modifications then everyting is OK! This problem is only on Save As option. Have anybody ideas? Pease help! uralmasha Posted October 17, 2005 Report Share Posted October 17, 2005 I had this same phenomenon. I just removed .gnome2 folder, and this helped. I am not sure if removing this folder is safe if you have some filters, palettes or whatever customised stuff in gimp, as you are likely to loose it.
