harry000
Hello friends, I am using Mandrake 10.1 Recently, I upgraded the amarok player. Everything worked fine. Then, I decided tp upgrade tthe "xine-engine" i did this by $ urpmi xine-lib and it upgraded sucessfully. But after that when I ran Amarok again, it displayed the message that syas somethong like that - sine can not initialze the audio driver (not exactly this, but similar to this) what could be the problem Edited October 16, 2005 by harry000
ianw1974
You could have a problem with a few things not matching. You could do a full system update using the following providing you have a fast internet connection: urpmi --auto-select --auto this would then make sure all is bang up-to-date and then try running amarok again. If not, then maybe make sure using latest version of amarok too, in case both are dependant on a certain version of xine-lib.
