ianw1974 Posted October 3, 2005 Report Share Posted October 3, 2005 I've found that gtk apps take their settings from gnome. You can install gnome-control-center, and then run gnome-font-config to configure the sizes of the fonts you want (even if you're not running gnome, trust me :P ). Then, if using KDE, in your home directory ~/.kde/Autostart create a symlink to gnome-settings-daemon and the fonts will get their settings each time you reboot/start the system. Guest The_Wounded Posted October 4, 2005 Report Share Posted October 4, 2005 (edited) yeah i added gnome settings and all, the weird thing is i installed lots of fonts but they don't appear in the font list of xmms or any other gtk app. and i have gtk-qt isntalled also tried setting gtk to use kde settings in the kde configuration.
