devries
You want to shutdown X or your PC? If it's just X, open a console, login as root and type: init

AussieJohn
You need to open KDE Control Centre and select Components then select Session Manager in there, make sure there is a tick in the two boxes in General. Look at the other options to see what you want and put a tick in those as well. Click on apply and when you next log out you will get a little menu box asking whether you want to reboot or whatever. Cheers. John.
