Guest Mannix
When ever I start a terminal program I get this error: "bash: /usr/bin/head: Input/output error" Then the normal stuff will show up and I can use it(after about 10secs). It also shows up whenever I run a shell script which seems to cause some other errors which won't allow me to run certain programs(I can't use Azureus because it wont read the java version number for some reason.). What it says when I try to start it is: "Java exec not found in PATH, starting auto-search... Java exec found in /usr/java/jre1.5.0_04/bin/ ./azureus: line 1: /usr/bin/head: Input/output error OOPS, you don't seem to have a valid JRE [/usr/java/jre1.5.0_04/bin/java = ] You need to upgrade to JRE 1.4.x or newer from http://java.sun.com" This has happened before and just went away on it's own and came back recently. I'm running Mandrake 10.1 Official. Thanks in advance. Moved from Hardware by theYinYeti Edited August 31, 2005 by theYinYeti
