Aussie John, I understand how you feel, but remember - it's all Linux! Actually the same operating system... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I had no end of problems with ATI drivers on Mandrake 10.0 and 10.1. In the end I just had LE2005 installed, and ran with the drivers that came with it. I figured if I attempted to update to the later versions, that I'd end up screwing the system and losing the OpenGL support that I had working. Seems that it's not only one distro affected by this.
