Wireless card for IBM thinkpad

That's what I would have advised in the past... but I'm really disappointed in Mandriva after what happened to me:

I looked for a CERTIFIED WiFi USB device in the Mandriva database, and found the D-Link G122. I bought it, and it is still not working :(

I manage to make it work for 5 minutes before driver freeze, but whatever I achieved, MandrivaLinux did not help in any way.

Yves.

My thinkpad T23 works perfectly with a dell truemobile card since it is just a repackaged Orinoco Gold (which works fine pretty much anywhere).

Look around online and find out what is INSIDE most cards. You can usually get repackaged cards cheaper than the orinoco ones (since people dont know what to look for)
