However, you should (have to?? ) patch to the latest version anyway which doesn't require dependency with one particular library that had a tendency to complicate things... I was emailing back and forth with Bob Bates for the last couple months, and he wasn't sure about a Linux port, and it seems like it's for sure not happening.
