I tried the harware compatibility list on Mandrake web-site, but could not check the motherboard and ddr ram for PC 3200 (400). I would appreciate any feed back. I am not sure what chipset is used for built in sound (realtek ALC 650 AC97 compatible? not sure what module is used for this even if supported). And I have a feeling that your modem is going to be one of those winmodems which could be iffy in terms of linux support without knowing what chipset it uses. I have an external hardware modem - so internal winmodem I can live with... and I guess I can add a sound card anytime if I run into trouble with this one.
