Guest Raze31
I have windows xp home main internet connection through modem and router (linksys WRT54G ver. 3.1) I just installed linux mandriva 2005 limited edition. I would like to connect to the internet through my wireless router sharing the windows pc's internet connection using my usb wireless network adapter (USB linksys wireless g 802.11g). Can anyone help me as I am new to linux. Love it so far. I can connect wired and have already but I really need it to be wireless. Thanks for any help Edited August 11, 2005 by Raze31
tyme
Just want to clarify: You have the USB wireless network adapter connected to the Linux box, and that will connect to your wireless router, right? (just making sure I understand :) )
Qchem
The best way to approach this would be to try using ndiswrapper (a program which loads the windows driverrs for wireless network cards), this thread will probably be of use to you. ndiswrapper is usually pretty good for these things, but I've no experience in trying to get it running with a USB device.
