ezroller
I just installed KDE 3.1 final from some cooker packages I found. I first removed KDE 3.0.X. Then I was in dependency hell, but all dependencies were filled. I get the following errors when I try to start KDE I get this error message: KDEINIT: relocation error :/usr/lib/libXft.so.2 : undefined symbol: FcPatternAddInteger Can anyone help me fix this? bvc
If there is and you didn't, I'd get the libXft pkgs from the same cooker site you got the kde pkgs. I don't know???
ezroller
I got it working! I grabbed libXft2-2.1-2.1mdk.i586.rpm and built it from the source. That also installed to /usr/local/lib, so I just made links from everything that the src rpm built and put the links into /usr/lib and that corrected the problem. ARTS still doesn't work, but I rarely use that as a sound server anyways.
