Guest lennardseah
Hi there, how do i force hyperthreading smt on in the latest cooker kernel 2.6.12-x series? I've tried setting ht=on and acpi=ht in my lilo.conf but HT still remained off. I've compiled the kernel from the mandrake sources and already specified multiprocessor and SMT in the config. any ideas? Moved to "Kernel..." forum by theYinYeti. Welcome on board! devries
Try installing a Mandriva kernel first to see if ht works. If it does it's a problem with your config.

scarecrow
You can use kernel-smp-2.6.12.8mdk-1-1mdk.i586.rpm - it should work.
