joaonuno
Does anyone knows how I can get 32 bpp depth in my Acer Aspire 1414 LMi? My Graphic Card is an Intel® 855GME integrated 3D AGP graphics featuring Intel® Extreme Graphics 2 technology and up to 64 MB of video memory Dual independent display support. bvc
If you are using DefaultDepth 24 you are using 32 bpp. Makes no sense, but that's what they say.
tyme
It's because 32bpp doesn't actually exist :) What's called 32bpp is actually 24-bits packed into 32-bits of space, there's no 32-bit color mode - so when you choose 32bpp in Windows (and other OS's), you're actually getting 24 bit color. (just some useless information)
theYinYeti
As far as I know, the "32bit" mode is equal to the 24bit mode, but with a provision of 8bits for adding alpha in the future.
