Darkelve
Hi, I'm trying to install Morrowind through Cedega, but I am stuck where it says: "cannot launch install <something> ikernel.exe". So I look on my disc and it says: "ikernel.ex_ - 336,8kb". Damaged disc? Problem with Cedega? Anyone know how big this file should be? Anyway, I was wondering if someone could send me his ikernel.exe file ( to darkelve@myway.com ), so I can try if I can copy the files to harddisk and install from there. Artificial Intelligence
So I look on my disc and it says: "ikernel.ex_ - 336,8kb". Checked my Morrowind disc and it's the same size. Buut I send you a copy of it.
Darkelve
Thank you! :) Actually it looks like a DCOM problem, but it's good to exclude possibilities at least. Edited July 29, 2005 by Darkelve
Guest valentina
Hello! I have the same problem as Darkelve. By unzipping the software the ikernel.ex_ stays the same. The software needs ikernel.exe to install. At work I installed same software and it works fine. Should I copy that ikernel.exe from work. I can not find it. I am only a newcomer, sorry for stupid questions. Valentina
tyme
you can simply rename ikernel.ex_ to ikernel.exe, if memory serves.
