static
As for volume, my solution is:+ : aumix -v+5 - : aumix -v-5 But where do you put that? Make a bash script, add it to the menu, then use that?? Can't be! Where's the config file for the keyboard?! Anybody? Or does X-Bindkeys do volume too? xbindkeys or acme? Somebody help me! :(

theYinYeti
xbindkeys is very good, and I finally wrote the "article" I wanted to write, on my web site: http://www.gablin.fr.fm/ Yves.
Steve Scrimpshire
That appears to be a very good article, Yves, but my French is very rusty. I tried Babelfish, but that is always a poor translation. It looks like a tutorial on how to edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file to point to the layout of your keyboard for multimedia keys, but crucial parts of the tutorial I cannot translate properly. Would there be anyway for you to make an English translation of that page?
