Guest dkathrens77
Well, being a "want to know" kind of guy, I always press "ESC for Verbose Mode"when my Mandrake Linux 10.1 is booting. All this detailed information goes scrolling by and is gone before I can read it. I suspect this information is saved in a log file somewhere. WHERE IS THAT? Also, what other logs would be nice to read if a person really "wants to know" more about Mandrake/Linux? I've installed freebie download or magazine CD Linux distros on older machines but now I've got this screamer 3.2GHz P4 machine B) I'm ready to take my Linux experience to the "next level". Please advise!! Dennis [moved from Tips & Tricks by spinynorman - welcome aboard, but there's no need to shout :)]
devries
Open de Mandriva Control Center, system, logs. Or look in /var/logs for the log files.
