fuzzylizard
I posted a question on the old board about getting a word count in OOo and someone provided a handy little script and instructions for installing it. Regrettably, I did not copy either the script or the instructions. So, does anyone know which script I am talking about - I believe it was a macro that was run - and does anyone know how one would go about installing it? Thank you. (Is the old board still alive so I could look for the post, or is it officially dead?)
MoonChild
fuzzy, if you check on the openoffice website, you can find it somewhere. I also found one in freshmeat some time ago. Unfortunately, I don't remember the names or how I got there. But I remember there is one. I myself didn't bother to install it as you On the other hand... Open the file, then select: File -> Properties. Click on the "Statistics" tab. The word count (and other statistics) will appear in the dialog.
