kristi Posted June 30, 2005 Report Share Posted June 30, 2005 (edited) Just reinstalled 2005LE to get a printer working. During install, it offered me HP deskjet 5740. That printer works fine after install. But trying to install another one (one draft, one regular), most of the deskjets that were avail during install are not avail - it looks like 10.1 or prior choices. Where did they go, and how can I get them back? tia!!! devries Posted June 30, 2005 Report Share Posted June 30, 2005 Try cups to set it up. Open a browser and in the adressbar type: localhost:631 Follow it from there. Don't know why they aren't in the regular way, but what the heck!!! :D Yes! i had already changed the "regular" printer to draft, so this one I added will be left for the occasional "good" use.
