AleXxiO Posted June 16, 2005 Report Share Posted June 16, 2005 hi, man... i see most topics are about wireless....but i didn't find help for my problem... my wireless does not go, i tried a lot of things but i see that my MAC is always 00:00:00.... (all zero) i obviously tried ifconfig eth1 hw ether <MAC>, it says nothing but in dmesg: ipw2200: failed to send SCAN_REQUEST_EXT command eth1: Setting MAC to <mymac> ipw2200: ipw-2.2-boot.fw load failed: Reason -2 ipw2200: Unable to load firmware: 0xFFFFFFFE ipw2200: Failed to up device what's the firmware it says?? can u help?
