arctic Posted June 16, 2005 Report Share Posted June 16, 2005 several options: run the command xkill and click on the app you want to quit. second alternative: crtl+alt+backspace will quit your current session and get you back to the login prompt. Then you can use killall with the program you wish to close. Example: killall kdeinit .
