Guest IceMan320 Posted June 1, 2005 Report Share Posted June 1, 2005 I am trying to dual boot windows xp which was alreay on the system and Mandrake. This is all on a emachine with intergated graphics and sound. Dont know if that has anything to do with it but anyway. I get to my boot screen and I load up linux then I get to the screen that looks like command prompt and all this text goes wizzing by. Then the last line it stops at and never goes farther. Is apm: BIOS version 1.2 flags 0x03 (Driver version 1.16ac). Maybe it will go past that but I have sat here for 30mins and it never moves. So I dont know what to do.
