Guest edfinegan
I have a Geforce4 4600 card. I had the older Nvida drives installed and working, but i just undated to the latest release and found that when i drag windows around on the desktop in gnome it is very choppy. The drivers are working because i gained 10 fps in glxgears in fullscreen and also when i run unreal i no longer have a problem with a seg falt when i run hige resolution Everything else seems to work as good or better then before except for the windows being very choppy. Does anyone know if there is a setting somewhere that may fix this. Thanks
DragonMage
It's a known problem with the newest NVidia driver. With the newest, you gained 3d speed and the newest version of OpenGL support, but the 2d suffers. I went back to version 3132 after finding out that version 4191 makes my 3d screensavers really really blocky.
