Cannonfodder
Go to http://aria.rednoah.com/ and download the source tar.bz2. Compile it to use. I did the same thing you did and got it off of CD1 and it didn't work. Couldn't locate it either. So give this a shot :)

Cannonfodder
You might want to check out downloaderx which looks like its the same thing. I've used it for quite a long time and its very stable

DragonMage
http://ftp.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distribut...2-1tex.i586.rpm That's a prebuilt downloader4x rpm for mandrake 9.0.
aze
damn it! it asks for libfontconfig.so.1. What f***** package should I install? Most times when I try to install something it asks for some lib is not present. Should I install mdk 9 fullest?
DragonMage
What version of mandrake are you using right now? If you are using mandrake 9 and you have the approprriate bandwidth, you might as well put texstar's place in your urpmi database and urpmi the sucker. The XFt library and other things basically will only improve your fonts. Anyway, this is a link for the older version of d4x, it should work nicely since it is compiled for mandrake 9 ftp://ftp.rpmfind.net/linux/Mandrake/9.0/...3-1mdk.i586.rpm
aze
It's really boring me!!! Every time I try to install d4x on mdk9 it asks for something. Then I go to rpmfind and download the needed library. But when I go to install this library it asks for more libraries!!!
DragonMage
Oy, it shouldn't do that if your urpmi database is up to date. Anyway, let's do add the contrib to your urpmi database by typing this in console as root. (all that in one line) urpmi.addmedia contrib ftp://ftp.lip6.fr/pub/linux/distributions/mandrake/9.0/contrib/RPMS/ with ../../i586/Mandrake/base/hdlist2.cz It will download the listing of the software in there and put it in your urpmi database, after it's all finished all you have to do is type urpmi d4x or go to the software installation section in mandrake control center and find d4x. It should download all the libraries needed automatically, or at least you only need to insert the cd needed to get the libraries installed. And if you really need other mirrors to put in your urpmi database, go to http://plf.zarb.org/~nanardon/urpmiweb.php to add other things such as texstar mirror, mandrake club mirrors, plf mirrors, etc. etc.
